The 26th annual Zoofari Gala was a wild good time, raising nearly $100,000 for the beloved Santa Ana Zoo.

THE PARTY The Santa Ana Zoo glittered with Mayan gold for the 26th annual Zoofari Gala hosted by The Friends of Santa Ana Zoo and FOSAZ Executive Director Cathi Decker. THE SCENE Wildlife residents welcomed more than 300 guests to the Mayan jungle-themed event, where Blue Parrot cocktails flowed and hors d’oeuvres were served beneath the stars. Emmy-winning KTLA meteorologist and sportscaster Henry DiCarlo kicked off the evening by recalling his childhood memories at the Santa Ana Zoo as guests enjoyed sliced grilled flank steak with chimichurri sauce and spicy Mayan chocolate truffles for dessert. THE HIGHLIGHTS Zoo director Ethan Fisher introduced wild live auction items, including a VIP KTLA set tour that sent light-up wands waving, and Groove Factory drew guests to the dance floor to celebrate the nearly $100,000 net raised for the zoo.
