To Your Health!

Hoag Memorial Hospital donors and volunteers gathered at Big Canyon Country Club to toast 55 of the medical center’s nurses who were awarded scholarships and help raise $105,000 to ensure tomorrow’s RNs are well trained and working en masse. There are some 120,000 nursing vacancies in the country, and that number’s expected to jump to 260,000 in the next 10 to 15 years. That’s why the Hoag Foundation launched the Choose Nursing, Choose Hoag initiative. And its annual Celebration of Success luncheon—now in its seventh year—is a chance for supporters to cheer for the people who are really making a difference in the lives of others.
