White Hot

| February 23, 2012 | Parties National

Instead of Jonas Hiller tending goals, mixologists tended bar in the crease at Honda Center for the 2012 Anaheim Ducks Casino Night, a party that netted $100,000 for Orangewood Children’s Foundation and CASA of Orange County (aka Court Appointed Special Advocates)—two charities that serve foster kids. Players (Ryan Getzlaf, Teemu Selanne and George Parros, to name just a few) donned white suits and mingled with a sold-out crowd of 650 fans and supporters of the nonprofits. And in between snapping pictures, playing cards and rolling the dice, guests enjoyed a white-and-orange menu that included butternut squash soup and white bean bruschetta. (And let’s not forget the duck and Gouda panini. Get it?) In all, the night was a win-win! Photos by Ann Chatillon
