His voice filled the grounds of the Great Stone Church and enraptured 480 guests with songs like “Unchained Melody,” “Any Dream Will Do” and “When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano,” a traditional tune performed during the Romance of the Mission gala. The affair made history—as evidenced by David Burnham’s show. He delighted the crowd with his renditions of Broadway hits and was joined by special guest Christina Saffran for a duet.
