Refresh your arm candy this spring with a visit to Van Cleef & Arpels’ immersive pop-up in South Coast Plaza’s Jewel Court. The dreamy, enchanted forest-themed space will be open from Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, April 16. Entitled ‘Poetry of Time’, this pop-up will evoke themes of nature and astronomy, two themes Van Cleef & Arpels hold near and dear to its inspirations.
Special for this installation, the Maison will give shoppers a first look at the pre-launched ‘Sweet Alhambra’ watch in rose gold and carnelian, and the exclusive ‘Lady Féerie Or Rose’ watch.

The ‘Sweet Alhambra’ watch is a chic take on a dainty watch. The newest edition features a modern rose gold watch dial, surrounded by alternating red and gold stones, each in the brand’s signature four-lobe shape.
“It marries the gentle tones of rose gold to the warm hues of carnelian, a material dear to the Maison and appreciated for its bright color. A reddish-orange variety of agate, carnelian has been used to adorn jewelry since Antiquity,” according to the brand’s press release.
Van Cleef & Arpels prides itself on selecting only the finest stones to be used in its jewelry, focusing on stones with a deep and even color that can be highly polished, for optimal shine. The rose gold is meant to catch the light and reveal shifting, glittering gleams.
Also exclusive to the pop-up, explore the ‘Lady Féerie Or Rose’ watch. The newest edition is crafted entirely in shades of pink and features a fairy who marks each hour with its wand, a whimsical take on a classic timepiece. The detailed watch dial is surrounded by diamonds, while the dial’s fairy is adorned with a dress of diamonds, pink sapphires and gold, while the fairy sits atop a mother-of-pearl cloud. Rather uniquely, the underside of the watch is engraved with a night sky filled with stars and a full moon and covered by sapphire glass.
For those craving a watch that screams spring florals, be sure to check out the ‘Lady Arpels Heures Florales’ and the ‘Lady Arpels Heures Florales Cerisier’ watches. The dial is three-dimensional with elegant florals and branches that work to blossom and close every 60 minutes. Who doesn’t love a watch that tells a story?
The pop-up will also explore the iconic brand’s history. It was designed in collaboration with two unique workshops that honor precise craftsmanship – the Aubusson modern tapestry workshop and the Glassworks glass workshop. On the walls, find motifs inspired by the Maison’s past creations and the animals used in its brand imagery.
