Style, sweets and sips helped set the scene for a night celebrating up-and-coming designer and socialite Tinsley Mortimer’s d├ębut novel, Southern Charm, at Neiman Marcus—and credit goes to Michaele Hall and her team for that. They helped transform a spot at the Fashion Island store into a couture closet: To one side, pink hues abounded, with dresses and heels in the bright shade. On the other, purples reigned; even a candy bar featured goodies in that haute hue—a perfect accompaniment to Hpnotiq Harmonie’s Minty Juleps and Southern Charm cocktails, which guests like Blair Zeiser and Amelia Montoya enjoyed while waiting to meet Mortimer. The star of the party signed copies of her novel, which follows Minty (get it?) as she moves from Charleston to NYC and quickly becomes immersed in the city’s social scene. Charmed, I’m sure.
