The Weeknd sure is a “Starboy." His 12,547-square-foot extravagant Los Angeles mansion is up for sale, and you're in luck. The price just dropped from $25 million to $22 million after about seven months on the market, according to the New York Post.
Situated within the gated community of Hidden Hills, this ultra-private estate is surrounded by redwood trees, grassy lawns and sun-drenched hillsides. The estate, located near downtown Calabasas and the Malibu coast, offered the utmost privacy and seclusion for the celebrity.
The home is decked out with wood and stone, designed for large-scale entertaining as well as an intimate home life. The property features 7 bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, a full-size basketball court, a 300-bottle wine room lit by blue LEDs, and a five-car auto showroom. Pass the meticulously landscaped grounds to the entry hall, and you're welcomed by two-story ceilings and a stunning wall of windows that let in the natural light.

The kitchen includes two islands, while the family room features a cozy fireplace and bar. When The Weeknd wasn't using the fitness studio or home theater, we imagine he enjoyed exterior amenities, from multiple terraces to a pool, spa, and cabana with living room. The listing is managed by Angel Salvador with The Agency.
The three-time Grammy-winner, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, also welcomed friends in his two-bedroom guest house. He became neighbors with Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, and Drake when he bought the three-acre plot home for $18.2 million in 2017.
The 30-year-old singer, who is set to perform at Super Bowl LV this Sunday, is originally from Toronto, Canada. These days, he lives between L.A. and New York City, retaining ownership of a $21 million penthouse in Westwood and renting a $60,000-per-month penthouse in Tribeca.

His latest album After Hours was released in March of 2020. He made headlines all year with his strange appearance, walking red carpets with a face covered in bloody bandages or over-worked plastic surgery. He recently explained the shocking look, telling Variety that the bandages reflect "the absurd culture of Hollywood celebrity and people manipulating themselves for superficial reasons to please and be validated."
"It’s all a progression," he's quoted, "and we watch The Character’s storyline hit heightened levels of danger and absurdity as his tale goes on.”
