At The Grove

| April 8, 2016 | Parties

Heather Madden looked stunning in her Oscar de la Renta gown. Lili Daftarian was radiant in red. And Grammy Award-winning artist Keith Urban rocked the crowd who filled the City National Grove of Anaheim and helped raise $2.7 million for pediatric mental health.

The CHOC Cherishes Children Gala is always a can’t-miss affair, drawing support from folks like Stephanie Argyros, Christine Bren and Caroline Marchant for an evening of top-tier entertainment and auction items, like the Harry Winston Midnight Monochrome timepiece that fetched $31,000. (Jimmy and Janet Lee won that prize.)
The generosity was bountiful—Rick and Kay Warren pledged a $250,000 matching gift, and the Argyros Family Foundation and Fariborz Maseeh each gave $100,000. And guests were glad to shine a spotlight on Sandy Segerstrom Daniels, who was presented with the Children’s Champion Award. Then, of course, there was the entertainment, courtesy of Urban, who belted out hits for more than an hour. Rock on! -Photography by Jason Fazio, Amber Morse and Josh Yacoby
