The Fantastic Feast

More than 200 foodies trekked out to the Ecology Center in San Juan Capo to indulge in an outdoor feast prepared by a baker’s dozen of O.C.’s best chefs, with ingredients from local purveyors. An Eco App Off pitted 11 of those culinary talents against one another. Chef Justin Monson from St. Roy Chef’s Pub at Vine took home the bragging rights for his Weiser Family Farm’s melon skewers with grilled Meyer lemon and basil chimichurri. The center ended the night with $20,000 for its Gardens for Life program. Photos by Rick Chatillon
