The decor was designed by O.C.’s finest restaurants, the spread was concocted by local chefs, and those who dined at the Illumination Foundation’s Table for 10 enjoyed every bite. If you weren’t among the 250-plus foodies, here’s a taste of the feast. Alfred Prasad of Tamarind of London, David Shofner of Dublin 4 Gastropub and Wineworks for Everyone, and Alfonso Ramirez of Pinot Provence joined host chef Josef Lageder at the Balboa Bay Resort to dish out cuisine at tables bedecked with candles, flowers and fine china. A performance from the nonprofit’s children’s choir provided more to savor, and the $300,000 raised was the icing on the cake. Photography by Bob Hodson
