It was a hat-making class in Europe that led Laguna Beach local Teressa Foglia to launch her eponymous brand in 2017. Known for her custom hats, beloved by celebrities and locals alike, Foglia has gained international recognition with retail stores throughout the United States and pop-ups in Paris, Mykonos and London. That soaring success has allowed her to give back to those in need. “Philanthropy is at the heart of our company. This year alone, we have donated over $24,000, and in total, over $190,000 throughout the years,” says Foglia. “During the pandemic, I co-founded Many As One, a nonprofit organization that assisted frontline medical workers and supported local restaurants.” Next, Foglia will launch new accessories and continue elevating the brand’s fine art designs in collaboration with partner and creative director Ty Hays.

A fashion stylist and image consultant, Raquel Macias’ eye for style has taken her around the world. After graduating from Portugal’s Lisbon Fashion School, the visionary worked closely with Cosmopolitan Portugal, celebrity clients, photographers and more. But it was the work she did with everyday women that fulfilled her most. “Watching my clients thrive in life, with style, is my biggest motivation,” says Macias, a member of South Coast Plaza’s elite styling team. “My recent role as a South Coast Plaza stylist has been an exciting and rewarding new avenue on both a personal and professional level.” When she’s not glamming others, she’s giving back through Laura’s House and gearing up for a holiday getaway with her husband.
