For one month, the studio garden at Montage Laguna Beach will become Talay, a pop-up eatery from acclaimed Thai restaurant Talay, regularly stationed at Montage’s Los Cabos resort. Talay will delight guests with creative Thai dishes, stunning platings from renowned chefs, and sensational flavors. The pop-up spot will be open from August 6 to September 10 for dinner hours between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Talay will taste like fine dining, but feel casual and laid-back, overflowing with authentic cuisine, appreciation for Thai culture, and imaginative details. Fire-grilled classics and cocktails will heighten the one-of-a-kind experience.
The chef behind the dishes, Chef Marc Narongchai, will trade his Baja resort oasis in Cabo San Lucas for the cliffside setting of Montage Laguna Beach for a little over a month to share his fabulous menu with Orange County.
During Talay’s stay, make sure to try the delicious Southeast Asian dishes, including Marc’s signature fried chicken, made with organic chicken, cilantro, garlic, shallot, Sriracha, a sweet chili glaze, and pickled cucumber.

Talay is already well-known for its luxurious outdoor setting and curated music selection, making it a place to eat, chat, and relax in a community-style environment. While Montage Laguna Beach is known for its coastal setting, modern decor, and relaxing energy. Pair the two and it’s an easy recipe for a relaxing summer evening.
Montage’s previous pop-ups have featured master chefs Crenn and Colagreco. The new restaurant will be no different, bringing in skillful culinary artists to provide only the best and most authentic bites to Laguna Beach. Head to Montage Laguna Beach’s Talay pop-up for a “full sensory experience.”
