Open through the end of 2024, Taikun has extended its omakase pop-up at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Here’s what to expect.

Plan your next date night at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, where executive chef Kei Yoshino and restaurateur Ryan Chadwick have teamed up to bring sushi lovers an intimate 16-course omakase dining concept straight from New York City. Known as Taikun, the pop-up restaurant is open through the end of 2024 inside a transformed private dining room at the Dana Point property.
Available for two seatings Tuesday through Sunday at 5:30PM and 8PM, the culinary adventure takes place at an nine-seat counter, ensuring you’ll enjoy plenty of candid time with chef Yoshino and his talented team. Highlights from the chef’s choice menu include A5 Japanese wagyu; yaki toro (torched fatty tuna); toro tartare paired with Osetra caviar; hay-smoked sawar (Spanish mackerel); Hokkaido uni; and many other premium tastes sourced from the land and sea.
