Stylish Sips

| November 2, 2012 | Parties

The crowd was hip, the hour was late and the sips were sensational—just what you’d expect from one of AnQi’s Fashionably Late Fridays. Only this time, two new faces mixed the drinks for the Red Hour—yours truly and Riviera Publisher Chris Gialanella. We donned our monogrammed bartending vests (courtesy of proprietor Elizabeth An) and poured for parched guests, who helped raise $1,030 (plus $1,005 in tips) for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women program. Among those joining in the fun: John and Patricia Wang, Katie Oakman and Britt Meyer. The drink of the evening—the Red Riviera, a delicious concoction of vodka and juices, with fresh muddled watermelon—was a hit. A good thing, considering 100 percent of its sales went to Go Red. And An donated 5 percent of the other beverage sales, too. A heartfelt thanks to all! Photography by Reza Allah-Bakhshi
