Hearts were touched during the fourth annual Life Changing Lives Gala, held on the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. Dubbed A Tribute to American Heroes, the event is the brainchild of Glenn and Mindy Stearns, and the Young Presidents’ Organization, and recognizes individuals and others who’ve positively impacted those who are struggling. Emotions reigned high as hero after hero took the stage, including honorees Maj. Gen. William Lyon, former Ambassador George Argyros and Muhammad Ali. Guests also enjoyed acts such as The Canadian Tenors and firefighter Humberto Agurcia, who sang the national anthem. All in all, the night, which raised nearly $1 million for orgs such as the Wounded Warrior Project, was a fitting tribute to the remembrance of 9/11.
