The Newport chapter of National Charity League Juniors and Bloomingdale’s Fashion Island brought together our two favorite things—style and philanthropy—for the second annual Spring Trend Event. It’s a precursor to the charitable mother-daughter organization’s annual luncheon, and it wowed with a runway show of the chicest looks of the season. Lawrence Zarian—yep, from Entertainment Tonight and Live With Kelly and Michael—emceed the affair, and the ladies went wild when he signed copies of his book, 10 Commandments for a Perfect Wardrobe. And Bloomingdale’s donated 10 percent of the day’s sales to the chapter, which supports High Hopes Head Injury Program, Harry & Grace Steele Children’s Center and the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
