Sound of Music

| May 9, 2013 | Parties National

No Doubt’s Adrian Young, former Sugar Ray drummer Stan Frazier and the guys of Young the Giant were among the tunesters who filled the Grove of Anaheim for the No. 1 music event on our coast. We could only be talking about the O.C. Music Awards. KROQ’s Ted Stryker hosted it all, and he kept the crowd going in between acts—from bands like Robert Jon & the Wreck—and award presentations. And there were plenty of those: Pac Symph’s Carl St.Clair took home the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Lit landed the Impact Award. Other honors went to The Field Trip (best new artist) and Parker Macy Blues (best blues). It’s safe to say music rocks in O.C. Photos by The School of Photography at Orange Coast College
