A Smart Gift

| October 12, 2012 | Parties

It was a day for the ladies and their gents during Orangewood’s 44 Women for Children luncheon, which raised funds to help foster teens attend college. Held at the Westin SCP, the party’s 280-plus guests enjoyed sips and eats while the speakers took the stage. Stylist Carson Kressley garnered a laugh by calling O.C. “the land of St. John Knits.” A current Orangewood scholarship student also shared how she rose out of hardships to earn her associate’s degree before transferring to a four-year college. Three cheers for making a difference! Photography by Ann Chatillon
