A Newport Beach resident by way of Colombia, Spain, Isabelle Hedoux’s passion for fashion is both business and pleasure. The longtime model stepped away from the runway at age 48 to co-found The Shopping Map, a website and magazine that celebrates Colombian art, design and fashion. The wife and mother of three teenagers also continues to support Colombia from afar through Fundación Juguemos en el Bosque, a Medellín-based nonprofit that supports disadvantaged youth, and carries on her modeling skills on her growing Instagram account (@simplement_isabelle_). Here, the jet-setting arbiter takes us inside her stylish world.

A third-generation jeweler, Katie Miller’s ability to make life sparkle runs in the family. Following the birth of her second child and a successful career launching products for The Estée Lauder Companies, ORLY and SkinMedica, Miller founded Mama Bijoux in 2019 and opened her first atelier in Costa Mesa’s Paseo 17 in 2022. “The brand has evolved from a mommy-and-me bracelet to a full line of 14 and 18K fine gold jewelry that is wearable, timeless and trend-driven but not trendy,” says Miller. “Every piece has a story to tell and I’m here to help you tell it.”

It’s all fun in the sun—with some hard work to boot—for Beach Riot founder, CEO and designer Nicole Tinkess. Following a successful career in licensing and design for SoCal brand Tavik, the Orange County local launched Beach Riot in 2012, taking her penchant for bright colors and bold patterns to the world of swimwear. In 2017, she launched Sport Riot, the company’s wildly popular activewear, and has since introduced mommy-and-me matching sets, among other apparel favorites, as she continues to build out Beach Riot’s ever-growing categories. Here, Tinkess shares her sunny disposition when it comes to her personal style.

Founder, CEO and designer, Regina Oswald, reginaoswald.com
At 22, Regina Oswald immigrated from her native Uzbekistan to the United States, where she found herself climbing the corporate ladder to an award-winning career in pharmaceutical sales. More than a decade later, her true love—fashion—took center stage as she stepped away from sales to launch her namesake clothing brand. “It was really frightening, but it makes me very proud that I started my business at 40 years old without any kind of retail experience in the fashion industry except for my personal passion,” says Oswald. “Seeing people wear my pieces was the utmost joy for me as a little girl, and nothing has changed.” When she’s not designing beautiful garments, the altruist can be found serving on the board of CHOC Mental Health, South Coast Repertoire’s gala committee, and supporting myriad causes through the Stephen G. & Regina Oswald Foundation.
WAKE-UP TIME: 5:30AM at the latest. I am an early bird, and I love having a quiet hour in the morning to set the mood for the day.
FASHION PHILOSOPHY: Fashion is not what to wear but how to wear it.
FIRST FASHION MEMORY: With the help of my grandma, I sewed a full circle skirt out of bright red fabric with white polka dots and styled it with my mom's top and flaunted it in front of my grandmother's girlfriends.
MY AESTHETIC: Edgy-feminine with masculine details
STYLE CRUSH: Victoria Beckham
MY MOST CHERISHED ACCESSORY: My engagement ring and wedding band
MY UNIFORM: I think and act differently in heels. Anything but flats.
IT BAG: Hermès black Kelly 28
