An intimate gathering of Emmylou Harris fans were treated to an evening of great food and music when she stopped by The Cannery in Newport. The 12-time Grammy Award winner got the group going with her songs (think “The Pearl” and “Gold”), and Executive Chef Nick Weber filled their bellies with a baby green oak salad, filet mignon and Australian lobster tail, along with a brown sugar tart. Guests also bid on a slew of fab auction items, including an autographed Gibson guitar and a trip to Nashville complete with a day tour and dinner with the star. The tastiest tune of all: Proceeds benefited Bonaparte’s Retreat and Crossroads Campus, two charities close to Harris’ heart. Photos by Ann Chatillon
