A Runway Hit!

| March 17, 2015 | Parties

When you’ve got a luncheon with prizes like an $8,000 Omega Ladymatic timepiece (thank you, Tourbillon at South Coast Plaza), the odds for striking success are certainly stacked in your favor. Add a designer fashion show featuring styles from SCP boutiques, a Napa Valley vacay in a 1920s-era Craftsman home and a Bally Bloom bag (complete with matching wallet), and you end up with a fundraising tally in excess of $250,000, which brought joy to the members of the Camino Health Center Auxiliary and well-heeled guests like Natasha Kalimada and Dana Bredenkamp. The group aims to help the clinic continue providing health care to those in need and has raised more than $6 million since its launch in 1985. And its annual runway show, held at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, has become a can’t-miss event—a healthy dose of fun and fashion. –Photos by John Eckmier and Joel Rahmatulla
