EnviTours was founded by Sam Jordan in 2019 to provide luxurious one of a kind
travel experiences that also include a day of community service. With a lifelong love
of adventure and a passion for helping people, Jordan created a successful business
that mirrors this lifestyle and values. Based in Los Angeles, to date Jordan and his
team have curated memorable private tours across five continents that include fivestar
travel and special volunteer day opportunities.

What do your trips involve?
Every tour is unique, although there are certain elements that cross over. Our set itineraries focus on a few core aspects of travel: culture, food, luxury, wellness and community. On an EnviTour, you may experience a night of traditional local dancing and music in your private villa, curated cooking or culinary experiences with top local chefs, private tours or backdoor entrances to top tourist sights, a private yacht excursion, sessions with wellness professionals, and of course our day of service.

What about the volunteer component?
EnviTours has an on-the-ground local, nonprofit, charitable organization that we partner with in every destination we visit. During our tours, we encourage participants to spend a day organized to meet, learn and work with the organization to improve the lives of those less fortunate. The level of volunteer activity varies by destination and organization. Some EnviTour members have spent a day of service involved with helping refurbish and rehabilitate schools and community centers, while others have volunteered in a local soup kitchen. At the end of the tour, our clients return home with a greater understanding of the issues facing the destination that they just came from, and hopefully, a passion to continue lending a hand.

How has the pandemic affected your business?
While international travel is not recommended by the CDC, nor its counterparts
around the world, and with some of our favorite destinations, such as Bali, closed
off for the foreseeable future, we’ve been focused on safe domestic travel. Since
July 2020, we’ve added a slew of new destinations, such as Lake Tahoe, Jackson
Hole and Puerto Rico. Before COVID, we prided ourselves on exclusivity, privacy
and off-the-beaten-path experiences; now, more than ever, that’s what travelers want
and need.

Anything new with EnviTours?
We now have COVID-conscious trips, both domestic and international, plus
our first wellness retreat. Our new trip-builder service also is available. This gives
prospective and existing clients the chance to communicate as much or as little as
they want with a trip organizer on our team to build out their dream vacation.
