When it comes to saving the lives of women and children in the crosshairs of domestic violence, Human Options is at the forefront. And its impact isn’t lost on the community. Just look at the results from this year’s luncheon at the Westin South Coast Plaza. The event drew 450 guests and netted $250,000, which will fund programs that help the 20,000 clients who seek the nonprofit’s aid—whether it’s early intervention or shelter. In addition to doing all that good, the group knows how to throw a soiree. This one featured author Rosalind Wiseman, who penned the award-winning Queen Bees and Wannabees.
