Picture the Future

Artist Chris Gwaltney opened his Emerald Bay home to 70 special guests to welcome the Ryman Arts program to Orange County. And it was, indeed, cause for celebration—the move means that O.C.’s crop of budding artists will now benefit from the professional-level training that the organization has been offering to L.A.-based teens for more than 20 years. “There are so many students who have the talent and drive to really make it in a creative profession, but the current education system doesn’t provide them with what they need.
