Pair some of the sweetest chefs around with the savviest interior designers on O.C.’s coast, and you’ve got Riviera’s Design & Desserts bash. About 400 stylish foodies made their way through Stonemill Design Center (a natural backdrop for such a feast of the senses) to admire the interior vignettes and nosh on the confections, then choose the duo who delighted the most. Charlie Palmer’s Seakyeong Kim and designer Kelly Ferm created dreams of decadence with a gold-encrusted layered chocolate bar and a dramatic roomscape. There was a funky take on apple pie from Elyssa Fournier of Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails, while creative competitor Meghan Yang outfitted her space with chandelier sparkles and a succulent wall. The icing on the cake? Serving designer Valerie Ribeiro and Anaheim White House pastry pro Onesimo David Lorenzo the winning vote. What a treat! Photography by Reza Allah-Bakhshi
