The former Fashion Island Hotel has found new life as Pendry Newport Beach, a Pendry Hotels & Resorts property that marks the eighth opening for the burgeoning brand. Joining Pendry San Diego and Pendry West Hollywood, the third Southern California property for Pendry brings 295 refreshed guest rooms to Newport Beach. The vision of Studio Munge, the chic accommodations include 114 suites offering water views of the Pacific, Newport Harbor and/or Back Bay. Professionals and party planners will also discover more than 58,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, highlighted by the 8,700-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the largest in all of Orange County.
