Partee Time

The Literacy Project Foundation hosted a crowd of more than 200 at its first Fore Dreams golf tournament at Pelican Hill—and the event came complete with great weather, tasty hors d’oeuvres and models sporting Scottish berets and suspenders. (Yep, it’s the country’s traditional golfing attire.) While the tourney certainly titillated, guests also were entertained with live music and dancing, and a four-course sunset meal on the resort’s scenic grounds. And all that fun helped raise awareness for the organization’s mission to implement reading programs in the community and give underprivileged students the gift of literacy. Let’s tee off to that!
