Don’t call it a comeback: For Agent Inc. (agentinc.co) founder John McMonigle, one of O.C.’s most storied real estate agents, his return to the top was earned. In his words: “Praise God for second chances.” Here, the man who’s clocked more than $7 billion in luxury sales speaks on training the next generation of realty royalty.
How is Agent Inc. revolutionizing the real estate industry in Southern California? It is a luxury platform that helps our agents become true neighborhood specialists. We are the only real estate company mapping North American communities with the goal of having an expert agent inside each neighborhood.
In your opinion, what’s the hottest neighborhood in O.C. right now? The Strand at Headlands in Dana Point and Crystal Cove in Newport Coast. ‘New and view’ always sells above expectations. These two newer neighborhoods are performing very well.
After the recession, what was the key to rising to the top of O.C.’s real estate scene once again? Becoming more purpose-driven, strong marketing, perserverance and surrounding myself with good people.
If I wasn’t in real estate, I would love to... be a superyacht broker in Monaco.
The luxury I feel is worth every penny is... my chauffeur-driven Maybach.
Dream dinner party: Who is there and what do you serve? Rick Warren, Donald Trump and Newt Gingrich—hamburgers at Gulfstream in Newport Beach.
