In anticipation of the opening of the Orange County Museum of Art (ocma.art) at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, here’s a look at the institution by the numbers.
OCMA’s fundraising fete, the Art Sense Gala, will be held Oct. 1, 2022. The inaugural Art Sense Gala garnered $1 million, more than three times what the museum’s previous galas have made.

13 Women, an exhibition curated by OCMA CEO and Director Heidi Zuckerman, will be one of the debut displays at the museum. The exhibit will pay homage to the 13 women who founded the museum and will be teamed with 13 pieces of art from female artists.

The number of works in the museum’s collection. John Baldessari, Chris Burden, Vija Celmins, Bruce Conner, Robert Irwin, Charles Ray and Catherine Opie are among the contemporary and modern artists whose pieces are highlighted.
