The end of summer? Already, really? Worry not. Labor Day weekend is speedily approaching and there is a fabulous array of activities and specials happening in Orange County that are seriously worth checking out. Designer trunk shows, local markets, and tasty restaurant specials are set to make this Labor Day weekend a memorable one.

Las Brisas’ typically delicious weekend brunch has been extended to include Labor Day in celebration of the long weekend. Find classic brunch items like omelets and French toast on the menu, as well as unique takes on eggs Benedict. Guests can choose between four styles for their eggs Benedict: Florentine, smoked salmon. Traditional (with smoked ham), or lobster. The restaurant overlooks the ocean, making it a scenic spot to enjoy an al fresco brunch with friends and family.

The event is open to the public and will be held in the Commodore Room at Balboa Bay Resort. Check out the new VEA Newport Beach this Labor Day Weekend for your fix of relaxation, live music, and unique cocktails. This happening spot has three restaurants and bars, a massive spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a simply luxurious pool deck. Guests can purchase a day pass for access to the indoor steam room, outdoor saltwater pool, private cabanas, and whirlpool, among other amenities. Special for the holiday weekend, enjoy the resort’s specialty cocktail, “white linen”, made with vodka, lemon, simple syrup, St. Germain, and cucumbers.
