The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel’s Té de los Muertos afternoon tea experience is a must-attend event this Halloween season. Through Oct. 31, guests can indulge in a captivating array of Day of the Dead-inspired delicacies, including mole-infused sandwiches and chocolate calaveras, all while taking in breathtaking ocean views through Raya’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Raya will also host a special Día de los Muertos dinner on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. featuring cuisine by acclaimed chef Richard Sandoval.
On Oct. 31, gather under the stars at Topside at Lido House from 5 p.m. to midnight. Newport Beach's only rooftop bar is teaming up with LALO Tequila to offer spooky specialty cocktails, a frightful costume contest, VIP table packages, themed photo opps and a live DJ. Grab your tickets here.
Dead Man's Halloween Party at Darkroom
Santa Ana's hot new restaurant Darkroom is hosting a bash inspired by the 1980s song "Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo on Oct. 31 from 6 to 10 p.m. Expect cocktails by The Blind Rabbit's Jordan Fernandez and 1980s-inspired finger foods, including chili crab deviled eggs and lobster-stuffed mushrooms. Happy hauntings abound in both Disneyland Park and the adjacent Disney California Adventure Park through Oct. 31. Both characters and rides get the spooky treatment—don’t miss the Haunted Mansion, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree—while Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Main Street also receive a Halloween-approved makeover.
Barks & Boos at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa
On Oct. 26 from 2 to 5 p.m., Orange County’s most anticipated Halloween event for four-legged friends is coming to Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa. The inaugural Barks & Boos, held in partnership with the Pet Project Foundation, promises a spooktacular afternoon of costumed canines and the chance to win prizes for the most creative, cute and scary ensembles.

Dodge blood-thirsty vampires and evil monsters at Knott’s Scary Farm. Running through Nov. 2, visitors are in for a fright as they walk through the park and come face-to-face with creepy clowns, lurking ghosts and vengeful witches. Recommended for visitors aged 14 and up, the park’s nights of frights will include 10 mazes, five sinister scare zones and more.
7th Annual Halloween Spooktacular
Head to Mariners Park in Newport Beach on Oct. 26 for a fun-filled afternoon of carnival games, delicious food and a spooky maze. Dress up in your best Halloween getup for a chance to win the exciting costume contest, and bring your pup along to compete in the Howl-O-Ween category.
