The Island Hotel was transformed into a whimsical wonderland for Girls Inc. of Orange County’s annual event, a celebration that inspired the nearly 400 attendees who came out to support the nonprofit. Guests dined on a sumptuous spread (the main course: truffle-roasted filet of Angus Beef and lobster risotto with pinot noir and checkerboard veggies), bid on luxe live auction items—think golf with NBA legend Jerry West—and danced the night away. But that wasn’t all: The gala raised $280,000—funds that will impact the lives of 5,000 girls and help them become “strong, smart and bold.” Photos by Ann Chatillon
