One-Two Punch!

| May 7, 2013 | Parties National

O.C.’s well-heeled fight fans (think the likes of Lula Halfacre, and Joni and A.J. D’Amato) headed to Marconi Automotive Museum to join Dick and Priscilla “Bo” Marconi for a night of boxing—and to cheer on former welterweight champion Victor “Vicious” Ortiz as he accepted the Humanitarian Award. The 300-plus guests kicked off the party by bidding on silent auction prizes like a Breitling men’s watch and Ippolita jewelry, courtesy of Traditional Jewelers. A live auction kept the energy high between bouts. And when it was all over, a hefty $300,000 had been raised for the Speech and Language Development Center, Drug Use is Life Abuse and Marconi Foundation for Kids—causes all worth fighting for.
