One Jazzy Eve

| January 1, 2014 | Parties

A swanky set of ladies and gents stepped into Newport Beach’s most stylish speakeasy—aka the Island Hotel—for HomeAid Orange County’s Doorways for Hope gala. The big-band sounds of the Dean Mora Orchestra filled the ballroom as guests dined on delightful nibbles and threw back the bubbly. They also enjoyed a performance straight out of the Roaring ’20s, courtesy of the Atomic Cherry Bombs dance troupe. So, what was the password to party? “End homelessness,” and the revelers helped in that effort by bringing in more than $300,000 for the organization. It’s the cat’s pajamas!
