THE PARTY The spirit of the Wild West was alive and well at the Orange County School of the Arts’ Re-Boots & Bling Gala at Giracci Vineyards and Farms in Silverado. Marking the return of live performances for the school, the annual fete tallied $1 million for its tuition-free arts programming. THE PEOPLE OCSA’s founder and executive director, Ralph Opacic, joined guests like Bill Peters, Kamie Kirschner and Hossein Karimi in cheering on the students as they performed renditions of country classics like Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.” Partygoers indulged in filet mignon and New Orleans-style barbecue shrimp before enjoying a trio of mini confections. THE PINNACLE The Bushala family delighted the crowd with a $50,000 donation while four enticing packages garnered $120,000 during the live auction. “I am so amazed and grateful for the generosity of our families and supporters,” said Opacic. “Thanks to all of them, we are able to continue providing all OCSA students with incredible educational experiences that will greatly impact their lives and their futures.”
