WEEKEND WARRIORS While Saturdays NYC may be an East Coast-based apparel brand, its aesthetic is decidedly West Coast. Now, O.C. shoppers can browse its casual threads, surfboards by local shapers and accessories at its shop at Lido Marina Village. “This is a surreal moment for the company and myself personally. I had always dreamed of bringing Saturdays back to my roots and hometown,” says co-founder Morgan Collett. “As a kid growing up in Newport surrounded by the surf industry, it gave me the opportunity and foundation that set me on my path to New York, which inevitably led [co-founder] Colin Tunstall and [me] to creating Saturdays. I am beyond grateful... to be back here opening our first store on the West Coast.” Surf’s up! saturdaysnyc.com; lidomarinavillage.com
