Ocean's 75

| April 2, 2012 | Parties

This long-anticipated night was certainly worth the wait for local art enthusiasts, who arrived in droves to catch a first peek at Orange County Museum of Art’s Richard Diebenkorn: The Ocean Park Series exhibit. VIPs snacked on creative cuisine and meandered through the venue, taking in more than 75 works by the famed contemporary artist—the largest selection from this series on view to date. It was co-organized by OCMA Curator Sarah Bancroft. (You read about her in Riviera’s December issue.) Guests left with visual senses satisfied—but we bet they’ll be back before the program closes in May. Photos by Colin Young-Wolff
