A Southern California local by way of Baghdad, Audie A. Attar has been one step ahead of the competition since his days of playing football at UCLA before heading into sports management to represent NFL athletes. These days, he’s the powerhouse founder and CEO of Irvine’s Paradigm Sports, a leading media agency and business platform through which he represents top names in mixed martial arts, football and soccer—think Conor McGregor and Israel Adesanya. In partnership with McGregor, he’s also the co-founder of Éire Born Spirits, the distillery behind Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, and a partner in August McGregor, the top fighter’s clothing collaboration with Orange County fashion designer David August Heil. When Attar isn’t breaking records—he orchestrated the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight, the largest combat sports event in history—he’s spending time in O.C. with his wife and little ones. FOR KICKS, I ALWAYS WEAR… my Lanvin sneakers. They are so comfortable, stylish and pair nicely with most of my casual combinations. I never want to take them off.
MY FAVORITE WATCH IS A… Patek Philippe 5990/1A Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph. It’s stylish, elegant and timeless, but it’s also hard to find. My go-to watch boutique is Newport Watch Club for all limited-edition pieces.
MY FAVORITE SHADES ARE... Cartier’s Santos de Cartier sunglasses. I recently purchased them and they’ve quickly become my de facto shades.
MY FAVORITE COLOGNE IS… Météore by Louis Vuitton. More importantly, it’s also my wife’s favorite.
MY STYLE PHILOSOPHY IS… to dress as a form of expressing yourself through fashion. Be true to yourself and don’t care what anybody else thinks.
