New Vine

| July 10, 2013 | Parties

The roots were planted long ago for a cozy wine shop overlooking Lake Mission Viejo, which celebrated its re-debut with a grand opening that supported the American Cancer Society. Yes, A Hidden Vine—formerly known as La Maison Gourmet—has reopened, and it’s grown plenty of grapes to taste. Owners Marty Cruz and Ken Domagalski showed off their selection of 650-plus labels to the partygoers. Torrey and Majestic offered boutique wine samples, and cheese and charcuterie were perfect pairings—as was the waterfront view from the patio. It provided a prime spot for tasting glasses of red and white wine, and chatting about what the spot will sprout next. Photography Courtesy Images
