This summer, Neiman Marcus opened an exclusive Schiaparelli boutique in their Beverly Hills store, marking the esteemed French maison’s West Coast debut. To honor the occasion, Neiman Marcus toasted Creative Director Daniel Roseberry at an intimate cocktail reception on October 12. The event celebrates the remarkable partnership between Neiman Marcus and Schiaparelli, bringing intimate access and a one-of-a-kind personal experience to the retailer’s top customers.

“From head to golden toe, Daniel’s leadership has brought extraordinary creativity, intellect, craftsmanship and modernization to the maison,” said Lana Todorovich, chief merchandising officer of Neiman Marcus. “Our new Los Angeles boutique provides customers premium access to one of the most exclusive brands in the world, and we are honored to host Daniel in celebration of this treasured partnership.”

The event was held at the historic John Sowden House, the landmark estate designed by renowned architect Lloyd Wright. The venue was outfitted with surrealist touches akin to those found in the Beverly Hills boutique: plinths with a replica of iconic Schiaparelli sculptures, a 10-foot keyhole sculpture and an assortment of women’s apparel and handbags, to name a few.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, light bites and surreal food towers while listening to music by DJ Ben Brunnemer. In addition to Roseberry, notable attendees included many of Hollywood’s A-listers decked out in Schiaparelli, top Neiman Marcus customers, and Neiman Marcus executives Ryan Ross, president of Neiman Marcus and head of NMG customer insights, Jodi Kahn, vice president of luxury fashion at Neiman Marcus and Gretchen Pace, VP/ GM, Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills.

“I am so excited to celebrate our expanding collaboration with Neiman Marcus in this iconic architectural house,” said Daniel Roseberry, creative director of Schiaparelli. “Over the past few years, the House of Schiaparelli has fostered such a special relationship with celebrities and stylists, contributing to unforgettable red-carpet moments. Entering Los Angeles holds great significance, and we aspire to transform this momentum into genuine success among our American clients.”

Designed by Roseberry in collaboration with architect Daniel Romualdez, the second-floor shop in Neiman’s Beverly Hills store embodies the Schiaparelli aesthetic with surrealist and whimsical details. Evoking the iconic Place Vendôme atelier, the boutique is outfitted with a wide selection of ready-to-wear, evening wear, handbags, leather goods, jewelry and accessories. The assortment is eccentric, intelligent and luxurious with iconic signature codes such as padlocks and keyholes, measuring tape, bijoux and body parts.

Best-selling products include the Mini Anatomy Jewelry Bag in black and gold variations, Bursting Eye Ring, and eye-catching outerwear such as the Bijoux Little Jacket and Skeleton Denim Jacket. In support of Neiman Marcus Group’s integrated retail model, customers can also shop Schiaparelli remotely through their sales associate.

The long-standing partnership between Neiman Marcus and Schiaparelli dates to 1940 when Maison founder Elsa Schiaparelli won one of the first Neiman Marcus Awards for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion for her significant influence on the industry.
