While gourmands have always flocked to Montage Laguna Beach for elevated dining experiences, the property’s new Friends of the Chef culinary series is taking the resort’s F&B programming to a whole new level. Led by executive chef David Serus, the summertime series sees the French maestro team up with his regionally and nationally recognized chef friends to create one-of-a-kind experiences.

Guests can expect an intimate—and decadent—four-course meal with beverage pairings following a curated opening cocktail reception. Join chef Roberto Alcocer of Oceanside’s Michelin-starred Valle restaurant on Friday, June 21, for a Taste of Baja in The Loft private dining room, then return on Sunday, July 14, for a French Bastille Day celebration with a star-studded lineup of Master Chefs of France. Names include chef David Serus (Montage Laguna Beach), chef David Feau (Wally’s Beverly Hills), chef Eric Branger (The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles), chef Steven Benjamin (Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills), chef Jean-Pierre Dubray (formerly of Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach), and chef Jean-Luc Royere (The Post Oak Hotel).
