Miraculous Moment

| February 17, 2015 | Parties

Taylor Carol is a singer-songwriter, a sophomore at Harvard and a survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Mamadou Ndiaye is a sophomore at UCI and a brain tumor survivor. They shared their inspirational stories with 600 wish-granters at the Miracles for Kids soiree at The St. Regis Monarch Beach. Carol sang, and Ndiaye was named the Night of Miracles honoree. And the crowd helped raise $1 million-plus for the nonprofit’s programs. Guests bid on live auction items like a Labrador puppy (which brought in a whopping $13,000) and put their hands together for the Cavaricci family, named this year’s Miracle Makers for their devotion to the charity. Simply wonderful. –Photos by Lisa Renee Photography
