Mad Hatters

| August 28, 2012 | Parties National

Fascinators, cloches and derbies galore crowned the heads of the mothers and daughters who gathered at the home of Julie Grad for Girls Inc. Guild’s Hats and High Tea Party. More than 60 guests enjoyed an afternoon of shopping (thanks to vendors like The Hat Loft and Social Butterfly) and were treated to tea at tables decked out by Beril Akcay and Neiman Marcus (to name just two). Spotted among the haute hat-wearing crowd: event chairwoman Catherine Biggers, Youngsong Martin (of Wildflower Linen fame) and Michaele Hall, who brought her mother Frankie along for the affair. As teatime drew to a close, more than $6,000 had been raised for Girls Inc. Hats off to that! Photos by Ann Chatillon
