Life-Giving Gala

| March 19, 2014 | Parties

It’s been about 14 years since Adam Williams’ life was saved by neurosurgeon Sylvain Palmer—so it was a powerful evening when they (along with their wives, Jana and Rosemary, respectively) came together to co-chair Mission Hospital’s annual gala. They joined 620 others at The St. Regis Monarch Beach to garner funding—$1.2 million net, to be exact—for the institution’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute while enjoying cuisine, cocktails and auctions aplenty. And the night came full circle when the Williams’ son, Morgan, took the stage to thank Palmer for helping his father—a sure sign of hope for tomorrow. –Photos by Stephanie Adriana, Joel Rahmatulla and Val Westover
