For this wife and mother of two, her time is best spent with those she loves most. Here’s a glimpse inside her fabulous world.
While Noella Bergener admits her love of medispas and unwinding at luxury resorts around the world (she just returned from The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort), she’s as real as it gets when it comes to getting candid about how she maintains those enviable good looks. “My husband and I get asked all the time about our fitness routines, but we aren’t major gym rats. We love eating rich foods and drinking fine wines,” she reveals. “Besides good genetics, we honestly attribute our lean physiques to a healthy and active sex life. We have a dungeon with a swing that gets more use than our home gym.” How’s that for up close and personal?
The husband she adores is accident attorney James Bergener, the familiar face and voice behind those Sweet James radio spots and billboards across Southern California. Their success as a power couple has afforded them a stunning home in Pelican Crest, where they dwell with their 8-month-old son and 5-year-old daughter, and the ability to give back to beloved institutions like Segerstrom Center for the Arts and the Orange County Museum of Art. A regular attendee at charity galas, Bergener readies for those photo-filled fetes at a bevy of spots around town.
“Working out and eating healthy is a must, but after two kids and my 36th birthday, I enjoy the extra help that CoolSculpting and Emscuplt give me,” she shares. “I go to The Aesthetic Centers of Orange County in Newport Beach and always ask for Andrea. She’s a doll! They have the largest number of CoolSculpting machines in Orange County so they can hit all of your trouble spots simultaneously. I also love Emscuplt for that natural booty lift. In under an hour, I can do 60,000 lunges while binge-watching my favorite Netflix series.” Now, that’s our kind of workout.
To keep her skin in top shape, she’s all about a great facial. “I swear by PRP (platelet-rich plasma) facials at Bella Derma. The treatment regenerates my skin, which leaves me feeling baby-faced and fresh; I’m glowing afterward,” she says. “I have also fallen in love with Regen OC’s Regen laser,” she says of the Corona del Mar hot spot. “It’s for skin tightening in delicate areas and I have had great results for below my chin and my eyelids.” Here, she takes us through a pamper-filled day featuring all of her favorite things.
7 AM Rise and Shine: “I wake up at 7AM and work out with my husband, James, via my cross trainer, weightlifting and stretching. We then head to Pressed Juicery. James goes hard with the ginger, cayenne and lemon wellness shot while I order a charcoal lemonade.” Crystal Cove Shopping Center, Newport Beach
10 AM Cool Down: “On weekends, we finish a workout with a steam in our spa followed by a couples massage provided by Soothe on our terrace.”
11:30 AM Smooth Moves: “I am allergic to wrinkles and am a regular at Bella Derma. Dr. Michael Santillanes is an artist with a syringe. He’s amazing at Botox, but his filler technique is what puts him in a league of his own. He’s able to carve out my cheekbones and erase my dark under-eye circles with the magic of filler.” Bella Derma Face & Body Sculpting, Newport Beach, 949.760.8065
1 PM Lunch Break: “James and I are foodies. In fact, we made a resolution to only eat things we really enjoy. For that reason, Knife Pleat is our go-to and hands down the best dining experience in O.C. Chef Tony Esnault is a gastronomic genius. The lunch menu is the perfect way to start a marathon day of shopping.” South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa
3 PM Retail Therapy: “If I could live at South Coast Plaza, I would. It’s far more than the ultimate gathering of boutique luxury shops and brands; it’s a showcase for all that is right in the worlds of fashion, art and lifestyle. My husband knows well that he can never go wrong by coming home with a box from Chanel, Hermès, Cartier or Rolex.” Costa Mesa
6PM Skip Town “Our favorite staycation is Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs. It’s just far away enough to make it feel like a true escape. Their mineral waters are truly therapeutic.” Rooms from $295 per night
