Hot Hot Height

American Ballet Theatre brought the heat for the world premiere of The Firebird, and Segerstrom Center for the Arts was aglow for the hotly anticipated opening night. Arts enthusiasts and dance divas filled the auditorium for the performance, where they were wowed by the talents of Natalia Osipova, Marcelo Gomes and the rest of the opening night cast. Afterward, VIPs and ABT’s dancers stopped at South Coast Plaza for a party that sizzled in kind, thanks to touches like white-hot leather sofas for lounging, bites from Quattro Caffe and Firebird Martinis for tasting—and a floor set for dancing the night away.
