The local arts community gathered at the Center Club for the Philharmonic Society of Orange County’s Golden Baton Award ceremony honoring Elizabeth Segerstrom. She was surrounded by close friends for the regal celebration, which included a performance by Spanish classical guitarist Sir Angel Romero. While bestowing her with the prestigious award, which recognizes those dedicated to the expansion of the arts in SoCal, Dean Corey, along with Elizabeth’s husband, Henry Segerstrom, and Lawrence Higby, toasted the activist for her creative spirit and efforts to nourish the arts.
