Haute House!

| April 2, 2012 | Parties National

A whimsical collection of children’s dream homes took center stage during HomeAid O.C.’s Project Playhouse gala. Some 450 guests flocked to the Balboa Bay Club to bid on the latest collection up for grabs in support of the nonprofit’s efforts to provide housing for those in need. A live auction was held for the adults, too, thanks to donations from Ferrari-Maserati of Newport and Black, Starr & Frost, among others. The highlight of the occasion, which raised $521,000, was the “home-age” to Gen. William Lyon for the numerous playhouses built by his namesake firm over the years.
