Harvest Day

| December 30, 2014 | Parties

More than 1.4 million—that’s the number of meals Second Harvest Food Bank will be able to provide to O.C.’s underserved, thanks to the 400 elite guests who gathered at Segerstrom Center for its auxiliary group’s luncheon and fashion show. Indeed, the Harvesters’ 22nd annual fete was a stunner. There were bubbles and bidding in the morning, a gorgeous meal to follow and an afterparty that kept Anton and Jennifer Segerstrom, Jennifer Van Bergh, Jill Johnson-Tucker and nonprofit CEO Nicole Suydam entertained throughout the afternoon. But a highlight of it all was the runway presentation featuring fall looks from Dior, Roberto Cavalli and Lanvin—as well as the $470,000 netted for the organization’s hunger-relief programs. And that’s always in season. –Photos by Xuong Do and Carla Rhea
