You Give. You Get. You Give—that was the mantra coming out of Orange County United Way’s ninth annual Women’s Philanthropy Fund Breakfast, which drew more than 650 business executives, ladies and supporters to the Hyatt Regency Irvine for a morning dedicated to the gals, of course. Among the highlights was a speech from Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s daughter Naomi, who took the stage to deliver a powerful message about using our gifts to change the world. And her words rang loud and clear with guests. They lent a hand in amassing a whopping $280,000—funds that will help women and young girls throughout the county develop self-sufficient lives.
